Drinking Water All Day Long? Still Feeling Dehydrated?

95511600This is a common complaint that we hear when we share AlkaViva with friends, family and new people that we meet. It was a common complaint among those of us who now drink ionized, alkaline hydrogen-rich water. Even at corporate, when new employees starts, they automatically begin drinking the water and one of their first remarks is, “I used to feel so dehydrated and now I feel like I’m hydrated even if I’m drinking less!”

The science behind the feeling of dehydration comes from a lack of sulfur in the water. Cell walls lose their pliability and water and oxygen can’t get through to hydrate the cell. When you drink ionized alkaline water, you hydrate your cells – oxygen and nutrients are brought into the cell and wastes are transported out.

There are a lot of symptoms of Chronic Dehydration that are often treated as some form of disease. We often cite the book You’re Not Sick; You’re Thirsty by Dr. F. Batmanghelidj as a source for opinion on dehydration. If you have not read this book, you’ll find it full of excellent information and the doctor’s story is fascinating. Imprisoned in 1979 in Iran during the revolution and scheduled for execution, his execution was stayed so he could become resident doctor.  He kept himself and others alive through water hydration treatment until his release in 1982.

Some of the typical symptoms of Chronic Dehydration are:

Asthma and Allergies
High Cholesterol
Heart Disease and Stroke
Hypertension and High Blood Pressure
Depression and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Sleep Disorders
Lack of Energy
Leukemia and Lymphoma
Attention Deficit Disorder
Hot Flushes
Kidney Stones

Often hard for people to believe as we are so deeply rooted in the values of traditional medicine. There are, however, countless stories of improved health once someone is hydrated every single day of their life.

How has ionized alkaline water affected you and your health? The strongest story that we can ever tell is our own!
